Job Summary:

Employment Specialists Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join their growing Corporate team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their insurance needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place multi-class programmes of insurance for a portfolio of clients, ensuring the adequacy and appropriateness of cover.
  • Check the accuracy of policy documentation and resolve client enquiries in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
  • Provide effective day-to-day management of the client relationship, including negotiating with insurers and liaising with the Account Executive.
  • Develop and maintain strong client and insurer relationships, providing technical expertise across a broad range of commercial insurance business.
  • Occasional client visits in support of the Account Executive.

Requirements:

  • Good all-round commercial insurance experience with technical knowledge across a range of classes of business.
  • A desire to develop strong client and insurer relationships.
  • Well-developed negotiation skills.
  • The ability to support colleagues in a close team environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
