Social Housing and Maintenance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Social Housing and Maintenance Officer to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supported housing services.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, experience in social housing, and a strong ability to work independently. Responsibilities include supporting tenants in achieving independent living, administering building maintenance, and providing rent account guidance and benefits advice.

Responsibilities:
  • Support tenants in achieving independent living through targeted support planning.
  • Administer building maintenance and management according to organizational policies.
  • Provide rent account guidance and benefits advice to tenants.
  • Identify and address tenant support needs, creating and reviewing support plans.
  • Conduct regular welfare checks and provide emergency support when needed.
Requirements:

To apply, candidates must have a background in social housing and relevant experience.

Salary:

£21,840 - £24,000 per annum (rising to £24,000 in April)
