At Provenir, we're on a mission to empower businesses to become industry leaders through innovative fintech solutions. As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by generating high-quality leads for our global fintech company.

About the Role

As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for partnering with regional sales representatives, sales management, and marketing to align territory strategy tactics and develop a successful Go-To-Market strategy. You'll also be expected to develop best practices, provide day-to-day operational direction to the BDR team, and work closely with marketing on campaigns and repurposing content in lead nurturing.

Key Responsibilities

Qualify inbound marketing leads (MQLs) and facilitate hand-off to the regional sales representative
Set up outbound call cadence and manage consistent flow of leads to Sales Reps
Lead the development and implementation of effective strategies for identifying and targeting potential clients in the financial services industry
Gain a good understanding of Provenir technology and use cases
Work closely with local sales teams to understand key focus areas and support market outreach via agreed channels
Conduct account research to help target key client personas
Utilize diverse channels (e.g., cold calling, email campaigns, social media) to generate high-quality leads
Cultivate prospect relationships, initiate communications, and drive opportunities through the sales funnel
Build rapport with key decision makers and transition warm leads to the Sales team
Revisit prior campaigns to reconnect with leads and initiate new conversations
Execute a repeatable sales process, from lead database hygiene, lead identification and qualification to hand over of the opportunity to the sales team
Foster rapport and brand awareness with inbound leads
Collaborate with senior decision makers to identify growth opportunities
Implement a consultative sales approach to align client needs with solutions

Requirements

At least 5 years of inside sales experience in SaaS or Fintech, with a strong track record in lead generation
Experience of coaching, mentoring or managing a team of BDRs / SDRs
Solid grasp of the financial industry, fintech trends, and SaaS solutions, including successful sales of technical solutions
Proficient in Salesforce for lead management and reporting
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas clearly
Proven ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines, highly organised and self-motivated
Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing market conditions
Consistent success in surpassing sales goals and expectations
Skilled in conducting solution-driven conversations at the C-Suite level
Language proficiency in Italian or French is a plus
