Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Water Engineer to join our Strategy & Regulation team in Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flood risk management, hydraulic modelling, and SuDS.

The role involves working with multi-disciplinary teams to develop flood resilience solutions that deliver the best possible outcomes for customers and the environment.

The successful candidate will champion our blue green plan and nature-first approach, providing technical input and guidance on Living with Water SuDS schemes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending partnership and core project team meetings
  • Collaborating with stakeholders on innovative approaches to monitoring and testing
  • Providing technical support on SuDS and flood resilience
  • Ensuring appropriate partnership governance is in place

The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering qualification, experience of working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of £39,362 - £46,548, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a company car through our company car lease scheme, annual incentive related bonus, and attractive pension scheme.
