Job Overview

Yorkshire Water, a leading water utility company in the UK, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Water Resources Modelling Manager. Based in Bradford, this position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, influencing national and regional policy while ensuring the sustainable operation of water production assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise on hydrology, water resources modelling, and climate change
  • Ensure business understanding of key operational and strategic asset risks and priorities
  • Support the preparation of Annual Water Resource Management Plan reports and reviews
  • Develop reservoir control rules and carry out hydrological analyses
  • Provide specialist support to operations and compliance teams

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Hydrology, Civil Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in climate change analyses, water resources modelling, or a similar role
  • Proven track record of driving sustainable performance against challenging business targets
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills with excellent stakeholder relationships

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
