Job Overview

Austin Fraser is seeking a skilled Commercial Lighting Business Development Executive to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling decorative lighting solutions to interior designers, architects, and specifiers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Selling standard and bespoke decorative lighting products to clients in the hotel, hospitality, and leisure sectors.
  2. Developing relationships with key decision-makers and specifying new business opportunities.
  3. Working on projects from independent hotels to major hotel brands, care homes, and restaurants.
  4. Managing a portfolio of existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in specification sales or business development within the contract market.
  • Excellent account management skills, with a strong focus on relationship-building and consultative selling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy.
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial lighting sector and current trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
