We are seeking a highly experienced Bid Executive to join our team at VolkerWessels UK. As a key member of our work-winning team, you will be responsible for tendering new civil engineering projects within the UK, focusing on Marine, Coastal, Flood Defence and Water sectors.

The successful candidate will oversee the estimation, tender design, commercial, programme and quality submissions for tenders varying in size from £2m to £100m. You will work closely with our leadership team to prepare high-quality bids that meet our clients' needs.

About this role
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential for this position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with our teams.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in site management is necessary for this role.
  • Travel is required, and the successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Preston for home office purposes.
  • Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required for this position.

The salary for this position is approximately £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including private medical care, pension, life assurance, and cycle-to-work scheme.
