Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager - Delivery to join our Material Management, Change & Programme Closure team. This role will involve project managing the delivery of the Astute submarine programme closure and product safety bid.

You will be responsible for identifying the full scope of activities, crafting winning bid plans, and uncovering potential risks. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Boat 7 Last of Class (LoC) Additional Production Materials Procurement Plan
  • Ensure the activities and plans to de-risk the programme are identified and mitigated to meet and exceed the incentive targets in the contract
  • Interface between the Defect and Deficiency team and the Programme team
  • Responsible for Project Managing the execution and delivery of the proactive obsolescence service
  • Support the delivery of improvements to the Operational planning processes and activities to enable greater success in delivering effective management of customer liabilities

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional Project Management Qualification
  • Experience in programme delivery, bid and proposal development and knowledge of LCM (lifecycle management)
  • Previous experience in a leadership position
  • Strong stakeholder management experience adept at guiding and influencing outcomes
