Cyber Intelligence Strategy Director

The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking an experienced Cyber Intelligence Strategy Director to lead and develop the bank's cyber threat intelligence program. This role will be responsible for defining, executing, and maturing the strategic plan for the bank's cyber threat intelligence capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cyber threats, technical expertise, and strong leadership skills to manage a high-performance team.

As a key member of the security services team, you will provide expert technical leadership, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure alignment with the organisation's overall cybersecurity strategy. Your experience in managing key stakeholder relationships, communicating complex ideas, and planning, collecting, researching, analysing, and building a deep technical understanding of cyber threats will be invaluable in this role.

The successful candidate will possess at least 3 years' experience in a dedicated cyber threat intelligence or another intelligence role, with a background in applying intelligence to support tactical, operational, and strategic decision making. Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years' experience in an adjacent (cyber security or information technology) discipline will be considered. You will also have a broad understanding of general cybersecurity and information technology topics, principles, and regulations relevant to a modern enterprise environment, as well as experience using one or more of the following technologies: SIEM, SOAR, Vulnerability Scanners, ASM tools, or TIPs.

A salary in the range of $180,000 - $250,000 per annum is on offer for this critical role.
