Job Description:
Marks & Spencer is seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst to join our Cyber Security team. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in monitoring, analysing, and responding to security threats. Your primary responsibility will be to gather and analyse security intelligence from various sources, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities to our systems and data. You will work closely with our security team to develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.

About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of security concepts, frameworks, and methodologies. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Gathering and analysing security intelligence from various sources, including threat feeds, vulnerability databases, and system logs.
  • Identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities to our systems and data, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Working closely with the security team to implement incident response plans and procedures.
  • Providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders on security-related issues and concerns.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • 1-2 years minimum experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) role or equivalent experience in security intelligence analysis.
  • A strong understanding of security concepts, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of SIEM and other security tools e.g., endpoint detection and response, network traffic analysis.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and collaboration skills.

Salary Information
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.
