About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Worker to join our team at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. As a Night Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with young people and their families to ensure care needs are met at night
  • Deliver care and support in the family home, residential home, or other community venues
  • Work collaboratively with health partners to provide a therapeutic based model of care

Requirements
  • A recognised Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a willingness to work towards within 18 months of appointment
  • A positive attitude and experience of working with children and young people
  • Ability to work over a 7-day shift rota system including weekends
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • A full driving licence that's valid to drive in the UK
