Night Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Worker to join our team at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. As a Night Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential homes.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people. You will work closely with our team to ensure the care needs of our residents are met, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with young people and their families to understand their care needs and develop personalized support plans
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including support in the family home, residential home, or community venues
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
We offer a competitive salary of up to £27,992, enhancements for the role and sleepover payments, and a range of benefits including 27 days annual leave, a generous pension scheme, and access to learning and development opportunities.
Requirements- A recognized Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a willingness to work towards within 18 months of appointment
- A positive attitude and experience of working with children and young people
- Ability to work over a 7-day shift rota system including weekends
- Enhanced DBS clearance and a full driving licence
