About the Role
Sense is seeking an experienced Activity Coordinator to lead activities across our adult social care provision. This is a permanent role working 22.5 hours per week, with a focus on developing valuable life skills and experiences for individuals with disabilities.
As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading activity sessions in both our day centre and the wider local community. You will contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of sessions, ensuring a safe and functional learning environment.
You will also supervise Support Workers and provide varying levels of support with personal care tasks. Experience of implementing activities with an emphasis on learning outcomes is essential, as is a progressive outlook to disability issues.
About You
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You should also have a strong awareness of disability needs and be flexible in your approach.
