ExtraCare Charitable Trust is seeking a skilled Activity Coordinator to join our team at our Solihull Retirement Village in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Activities Coordinator to lead the delivery of a varied and exciting activity plan for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a dynamic activity plan that meets the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Work closely with the Head of Care to ensure all residents receive the support they need.
  • Assist the Lifestyle Manager with planning and organisation of events.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for residents to lead their own interest groups and activity sessions.
  • Collaborate with the PR Team to ensure all events and activities are well-promoted.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of financial awareness and budgeting.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality activities and programmes.
