About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Human Resources Lead to join our team at Oryon Imaging. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping our recruitment and retention strategy, as well as guiding our Social Butterflies to nurture a wonderful diverse culture.

The successful candidate will contribute towards achieving departmental objectives, including:

  • Shaping the organization's recruitment and retention strategy
  • Guiding the Social Butterflies to nurture a wonderful diverse culture
  • Liaising with external suppliers
  • Providing guidance and support from external HR lawyers when required
  • Managing the HR function in respect of UK Employment Law and the company's strategy

The role is broad and will involve:

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively involved in delivering the HR strategy; proactively lead discussions, develop and communicate HR processes
  • Liaise with the company's HR lawyers directly to proactively manage HR function
  • Ensure the company's HR policies, contracts and processes are all reliable, up to date, and understood across the company
  • Advise Oryon's managers on people management; guide new managers on attaining relevant skills, lead workshops and training, help manage performance concerns and disciplinary actions when required
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues
  • Own the recruitment strategy, making sure its relevance in respect to external and internal forces and taking proactive actions to hire and retain great talent
  • Own the entire recruitment process from ensuring the presence of the right job descriptions for the roles and the right channels used for candidate sourcing, to fulfilling the vacancies within agreed timelines, conducting screening interviews, providing feedback, and onboarding
  • Oversee new starter inductions, and the leaver process; carry out exit interviews and provide feedback to relevant parties
  • Lead contract delivery and advise on the terms and conditions of employment
  • Oversee the administration of PeopleHR platform. Monitor all annual leave and absence
  • Manage the HR and recruitment budget
  • Oversee employees' training, learning and development
  • Work with the Compliance Manager to ensure all HR practices comply with regulatory requirements
  • Deliver against the department objectives and targets
  • Manage, guide and look after the development of the HR Assistant
  • Actively involved in building and nurturing employee culture
  • Oversee Social Butterflies' activities, budget and deliverables. Help organise internal events when required
  • Oversee the benefits and the wellbeing program
  • Oversee payroll administration
About You

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Is great with people and genuinely nice to be around
  • Has previous HR Lead/HR Business Partner experience
  • Is CIPD qualified
  • Has knowledge of the UK Employment Law & HR best practices
  • Has experience in employee relations
  • Has experience in supporting senior leadership
  • Has experience in budget management
  • Has experience in submitting payroll data
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Has excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken
  • Is educated at a degree level
