Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our Finance Team at a luxury retail company. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the Account Payables Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain accurate supplier records, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing.
  • Process invoices and credit notes with precision, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and prepare bi-monthly payment runs, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve supplier queries and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in the month-end process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Some experience in accounts payable or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Oracle, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in both English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and colleagues.
