**Job Overview**

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to join our team as a band 6 in the emergency department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to enhance their skills in a challenging and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will take charge of the busy ED on a shift-by-shift basis, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and timely care. They will be responsible for providing leadership in care to children, young people, and their families, ensuring high standards of care are met.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have substantial post-registration experience in an emergency department setting, with a strong understanding of child and family-focused care. You will also require effective communication and delegation skills, with the ability to supervise juniors and contribute to the effective running of the department.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £63,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, which is competitive compared to other nursing roles in London.
