Sales Manager Industrial Position

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with expertise in hydraulic components to join our team. As a Sales Manager - Industrial, you will be responsible for developing and managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.
About the RoleThis is a home-based position that requires regular customer visits throughout the sales region. We anticipate one day will be spent working from your home office with four days focusing on developing and managing customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage key accounts, ensuring excellent customer relationships and driving sales growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our presence in the industrial sector
- Provide product training and support to customers, ensuring they receive the best solutions for their needs
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends
- Minimum 5 years' experience in external sales, preferably in an associated sector (hydraulics, pumps, valves, fluid dynamics)
- Strong strategic thinker with exceptional ability to develop relationships, manage key accounts, and develop new business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of business-to-business sales, with a strong understanding of the industrial market
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field advantageous
- A competitive salary range of £45,000 to £70,000 basic, with on-target earnings exceeding £80,000
