About the Role:

The musicalchairs team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Administrator to support the fundraising efforts of our organization on a part-time basis. This is a one-year maternity cover position that requires administrative efficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and extensive use of the Tessitura CRM database system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the fundraising team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Utilize the Tessitura CRM database system to manage donor relationships, track donations, and generate reports.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions, including correspondence, meetings, and phone calls.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, stakeholders, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a fundraising or non-profit setting.
  • Experience with database management systems, particularly Tessitura.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
