Inside Sales Representative

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our Global Products fire suppression business. This exciting opportunity will be responsible for selling and supporting products and services across various portfolios, including Vehicle, Kitchen Fire Suppression, Engineered systems, and water mechanical.
The successful candidate will be accountable for opportunity qualification, commercialization, and lifecycle management. Key responsibilities include co-ordinating account management activities, collaborating with outside sales and customer service teams, and proactively selling products and services to existing customers via phone, online, or face-to-face interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Request For Quote (FRQ) review and commercialisation via ERP system
- Opportunity lifecycle management and follow-up via CRM system
- Co-ordination of referrals and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Account management, including back order reporting, forecasting, spend review, credit analysis, and driving growth through strategic initiatives
- Basic engineering activities, such as drawing review and volume measurements
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, self-disciplined, and driven to achieve targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on customer relationship management
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to make tactical decisions and drive growth
- Proven experience in a B2B commercial environment, preferably with use of ERP and CRM systems
- Competitive salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
