Catering Manager Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced catering manager to join our team at schools in east London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of catering staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene in the school kitchen.
  • To oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring timely delivery of meals to students.
  • To work closely with school staff to develop and implement healthy eating initiatives.
  • To assist with menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management.
  • To ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • A valid DBS check on the update service or within the last 12 months.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a catering manager in a school setting.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary estimate is based on national averages for similar positions in the UK.
