About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technologist to join our production team at our Distribution Centre in Larkfield, Kent. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Technical Manager to ensure consistent quality of production across our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular random AQL inspections at the warehouse and store level, comparing results to regional QA teams' reports.
  • Prepare monthly summaries of quality issues for the Technical Manager's review and presentation to the senior management team.
  • Manage the compilation of seasonal factory scorecards.
  • Work with the Technical Manager to implement quality procedures aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Returns Department to assess product failure and returns analysis.
  • Issue and manage supplier corrective action reports for non-conforming products.
  • Investigate and record customer complaints regarding product performance, specifications, and reliability.
  • Support the Technical Manager with annual business reviews of key suppliers from a quality perspective.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Experience in carrying out AQL inspections at a factory level and head office.
  • Excellent time management, planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Multiproduct experience necessary.
  • Ability to travel at short notice if required.
