Clinical Haematology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Haematology Specialist to join our team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. As a Haematology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with blood disorders, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Share inpatient responsibilities with other Haematology consultants to cover daily ward rounds
  • Support a well-established and diverse outpatients' service, undertaking clinics at Royal Bolton Hospital
  • Participate in a weekly sector-wide MDT with Bolton, Wigan, and Salford
  • Develop and lead new services, expanding and consolidating existing ones

Person Specification

  • GMC registered
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • FRCPath or equivalent
  • CCT or within 6 months of obtaining CCT by date of interview

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Specialist interest in thrombosis/haemostasis or obstetric haematology
  • Has been PI for clinical trials
