We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraising Executive to join our small and friendly team at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. As a key member of our Fundraising Department, you will play a vital role in raising funds for vital therapies and services for our patients and residents.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in community fundraising, with a strong ability to build relationships with supporters and identify new fundraising opportunities. You will work closely with our Community Fundraising Manager to develop and deliver a range of fundraising events and activities, including sporting and challenge events, bespoke events, and community events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximise existing relationships and opportunities through excellent supporter stewardship
- Identify new fundraising opportunities and build relationships with community groups
- Work closely with the Communications Team to develop marketing and digital plans for fundraising activities
- Support the delivery of a small portfolio of community fundraising events
- Act as first point of contact for community and challenge supporters
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year community fundraising experience
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong networking, relationship, and communication skills
- Confidence in writing marketing and promotional copy
- Computer literate, using Microsoft programmes and databases
- Full Clean driving licence and access to car
