Job Summary:

Our client, a specialist subcontractor in the fit-out space, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable company that designs, manufactures, and installs fit-out systems for tier one main contractors. You will be based in the office with regular site visits, working closely with the Head of Commercial to grow the commercial team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage project costs and ensure accurate financial reporting
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Collaborate with the commercial team to drive business growth and expansion
* Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and identify potential issues

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in a specialist subcontract background, preferably in drylining, joinery, or flooring
* Strong knowledge of commercial management principles and practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
