Ridgway Dental is an established private practice situated in Wimbledon Village. We are a warm and welcoming practice with state-of-the-art facilities. We have a wide team of dental care professionals and specialists containing 4 surgeries.
We are looking for positive people with excellent professional presentation, confidence to communicate in a high service and welcoming manner with patients and a great attitude to maintaining a fun and happy team spirit, along with a dedication to patient care, organisation and timekeeping.
We are looking for a **Lead Dental Receptionist** to join our team on a full time basis, including some Saturdays. Our practice is committed to learning, education and training. As the first point of contact for our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. **Duties**:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanour
- Front of house and receptionist duties; telephone management including booking and rescheduling appointments
- Schedule appointments and diary management
- Answer phone calls and address patient enquiries or concerns
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
- Proven experience in an office or administrative role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, billing, and record keeping
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is preferred but not required
- Understand the vision and brand message for the practice, and deliver outstanding customer service experiences
- Processing payments and recording daily takings
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times, deal with patient objections effectively and efficiently
- Follow all practice systems and procedures
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a Dental Reception/TCO required
- Good communication and customer service skills, keeping patient satisfaction in mind
- Excellent professionalism and relationship building skills
- Able to work intuitively and adapt to change
- Strong work ethic, teamwork ability with an enthusiastic people-first attitude
- High levels of attention to detail
- Proficient user of Microsoft package
