Job Title: Children Residential Support Worker

Vetro Social Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children Residential Support Worker to join their team in Exeter. As a key member of the residential home team, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily needs of children and young people in care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support to young people, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
  • Support children in all day-to-day activities and interests, including weekends away and holidays.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines to ensure the safety and protection of young people.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to minimize incidents and provide a safe and nurturing environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months experience of working with children or in a similar social care setting.
  • Valid UK driving license and current Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Right to work in the UK.
