About the Role

We are seeking a Healthcare Professional with expertise in Clinical Negligence to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical background and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provisionally assess new Clinical Negligence enquiries and make a decision as to whether they can be accepted.
  2. Review records and relevant documentation in respect of prospective clients.
  3. Liaise with and communicate effectively with the new claims team and provide clear feedback on matters to the new claims team.
  4. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and changes in relevant medical fields, legal frameworks, and ethical guidelines, and undertake continuous professional development and training.
  5. Assist in educating and coaching the New Claims Advisors alongside the New Claims Technical Team Leader.
  6. Be available and responsive to the team to provide support, answer queries, and assist with difficult and challenging files.
  7. Evaluate Clinical Negligence claims efficiently and to an excellent standard.
  8. Liaise with the assessment team on quality of instructions.
  9. Uphold our Company Mission and Values.
Requirements:
  • Experience in vetting Clinical Negligence leads.
  • Excellent communication skills to obtain sensitive information from clients if needed.
  • Ability to work sympathetically and effectively with a wide range of clients with differing needs.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients alike.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
