Community Occupational Therapist Vacancy

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Professional to fill a Community Occupational Therapist role at JustOT in Greater Manchester on a locum basis, earning an estimated salary of £20-£23 per hour.

In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in the community, working closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in community-based occupational therapy and stay updated with industry best practices.

About the Job:

  • Deliver assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of occupational therapy services to patients in the community.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient-centered goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote independence and functional ability in patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers to educate them on how to support patients' rehabilitation and ongoing care.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and research in occupational therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualifications.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in community-based occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
