Night Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Night Nurse Manager to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Night Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mental health services during the night shift.
About the Role:The Night Nurse Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals during the night shift
- Ensuring that staffing levels are adequate and that all necessary resources are available
- Monitoring the standards of care provided and taking corrective action as necessary
- Liaising with other departments and services to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Managing referrals and admissions during the night shift
The Night Nurse Manager will be responsible for:
- Conducting handovers with ward managers and other staff members
- Ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and up-to-date
- Managing incidents and taking corrective action as necessary
- Providing support and guidance to staff members as needed
- Collaborating with other departments and services to ensure effective communication and collaboration
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A legal right to work in the UK
- Qualified Mental Health Nurse with 2 years plus post registration experience with active NMC registration
- Knowledge of NMC standards and guidelines, requests and professional practices
- Evidence of post registration continuing professional development
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practise
- Good working knowledge of the Mental Health Act
- Ability to undertake physical requirements of PRICE training
- Responsive and flexible
