We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Nurse Manager to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Night Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mental health services during the night shift.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe Night Nurse Manager will be responsible for:
- Ensuring staffing levels are adequate and in line with NMC standards
- Supporting and advising colleagues to maintain high standards of care
- Monitoring the quality of care provided and ensuring adherence to ACG policies and procedures
- Liaising with on-call managers, medics, and arranging admissions as needed
- Managing referrals out of hours and taking a lead role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hospital during the night shift
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A legal right to work in the UK
- Qualified Mental Health Nurse with 2 years plus post-registration experience and active NMC registration
- Knowledge of NMC standards and guidelines, requests, and professional practices
- Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice
- Good working knowledge of the Mental Health Act
- Ability to undertake physical requirements of PRICE training
- Responsive and flexible
- Experience in a duty nurse role or equivalent
