About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Nurse Manager to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Night Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mental health services during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the night shift team, ensuring that staffing levels are adequate and that all necessary tasks are completed.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of care, adhering to NMC standards and guidelines.
- Develop and implement flexible and innovative approaches to practice, ensuring that our services are of the highest quality.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, promoting their development and growth.
Requirements
- Qualified Mental Health Nurse with 2 years plus post-registration experience and active NMC registration.
- Knowledge of NMC standards and guidelines, requests, and professional practices.
- Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
- Good working knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
- Ability to undertake physical requirements of PRICE training.
- Responsive and flexible.
