We are seeking an experienced and skilled Night Nurse Manager to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Night Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Kings Norton Hospital, providing high-quality care to our patients and supporting our staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the night shift team and ensure that staffing levels are adequate to meet the needs of our patients.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of care, adhering to ACG standards and policies.
- Support and advise colleagues, providing guidance and leadership as needed.
- Manage referrals out of hours, liaising with on-call managers and medics.
- Prepare and submit reports, including the Night Report, which will be shared with Ward Managers, Matron, and Hospital Director.
- Qualified Mental Health Nurse with 2 years plus post-registration experience and active NMC registration.
- Knowledge of NMC standards and guidelines, requests, and professional practices.
- Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
- Good working knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
- Ability to undertake physical requirements of PRICE training.
