This Primary SEND School, based in Northumberland, is looking to appoint a passionate Classroom Support Assistant to work in Key Stage 1 or 2 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this Primary SEND School as part of an established team, the desired Primary SEN Teaching Assistant will be working on a small class-sized basis with pupils with SEND including Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, Learning Disabilities, Social, Emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) and Associated Behavioural Difficulties.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working with primary school-aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of SEND primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
