Special Education Needs Tutor

Remedy Education, a leading provider of education services, is seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with a student in East London.
About the RoleThis is a part-time position (15 hours per week) requiring a highly motivated and compassionate individual to provide tailored support to a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other additional needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering high-quality educational services, including teaching core subjects such as English and Maths, while adapting their approach to meet the unique requirements of students with SEN.
We are looking for someone who can build trust and establish positive relationships with our clients, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their learning journey.
Requirements- Hold QTS or have at least one year's experience teaching and assessing English and/or Maths and/or Science in primary and/or secondary schools;
- A minimum of two years' experience working with SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD, PDA, dysgraphia, and global developmental delay;
- Demonstrate a proven ability to enhance pupils' confidence, self-esteem, and love of learning;
- Show 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability, and honesty;
- Be able to creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching;
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service;
- Register to work as self-employed.
The estimated salary for this role is £30-£40 per hour, depending on experience. This translates to a weekly income of approximately £450-£600, based on 15 hours of work per week.
