Opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist in Mid Argyll

NHS Highland is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Mental Health Psychological Therapies team in the beautiful surroundings of Mid Argyll. As a member of our team, you will be aligned with the Mid Argyll, Kintyre and Islay (MAKI) Community Mental Health Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex mental health cases
  • Provide training, consultation, and clinical supervision to colleagues
  • Work directly with service users, utilizing a blended intervention model
  • Travel between locations within Argyll and Bute, with opportunities for remote working

Requirements:

  • Doctorate-level Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, with a hybrid model of remote and on-site working requirements
