About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Connect Health Group Limited. As a seasoned psychologist with a passion for leadership and innovation, you will play a key role in providing expert advice and consultation on psychological aspects of pain management to other health professionals.

Main Responsibilities

As a Principal Psychologist, you will be responsible for working within an interdisciplinary team to provide and supervise specialist psychological assessment and treatment for adults referred with chronic pain. You will assess and formulate plans for treatment, based on complex data from various sources, and implement evidence-based psychological approaches, including CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical or Health Psychologist
  • Experience of working in a physical health setting, delivering individual and group interventions
  • Good knowledge of the current evidence base in relation to psychological approaches to pain management
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills
