Job Title: Clinical Lead Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychologist to join our team at Compass Associates. As a Clinical Lead Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing senior clinical leadership and supervision to junior psychologists and assistant psychologists.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a recognized degree in Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychology and will have experience working within secure, forensic, or prison environments. You will be responsible for managing a small but complex caseload and providing training to healthcare professionals and prison staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior clinical leadership and supervision to junior psychologists and assistant psychologists
  • Manage a small but complex caseload of vulnerable males and females with high-risk behaviors and backgrounds
  • Deliver training to healthcare professionals and prison staff
  • Be involved in audits, research, and service development
Requirements:
  • Full HCPC registration
  • Recognized degree in Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychology
  • Clinical leadership experience
  • Training in supervision
  • Experience working within prison and/or secure mental health environments
Working Arrangements:

You will spend 2 days per week in Leeds and the remaining 3 days working between the other four prisons depending on need.

Interview Process:

A formal panel interview with the National Psychology Lead and Head of Healthcare will be followed by a site visit.
