Occupational Therapist Job Summary

We are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to work at Thornford Park Hospital, a rehabilitation service supporting individuals with mental illness and complex needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and be able to deliver high-quality assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to the multidisciplinary team
  • Manage a designated caseload
  • Develop specialist skills

Requirements:

  1. Occupational Therapy qualification
  2. Experience in Sensory Integration Therapy or knowledge of Sensory Integration

About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work within our combination of medium secure and low secure units and rehabilitation flats. Our focus is on supporting patients in their recovery and rehabilitation.

You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop tailored assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/complex care needs.
