Job Overview

We are seeking a Criminology Graduate to join our team as a Mental Health Support Assistant at our mental health provision in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or those with previous experience working with children.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with complex needs, working one-to-one and in wider groups
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialist staff to ensure comprehensive support

What You'll Gain

This role offers essential experience for those looking to train as an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Behaviour Therapist, or Speech and Language Therapist. You will gain a first-hand insight into mental health and neurodiversity, learning to identify risks and needs, and ensuring students meet set milestones.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £80-£90 per day, Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 3:30pm. We offer a competitive package, including a salary that reflects your expertise and experience.
