The Role

We are seeking a Criminology Graduate to join our team as a Mental Health Support Assistant. As a member of our staff, you will work closely with teachers and specialist staff to support students socially and emotionally.

Your Day-to-Day

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing learning materials, checking on student welfare, and helping to increase independent living skills. You will work one-to-one with students and in wider groups, building strong relationships to increase engagement, attainment, and life changes.

What You Will Gain

This role offers essential experience for those looking to train as an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Behaviour Therapist, or Speech and Language Therapist. You will gain a first-hand insight into mental health and neurodiversity, learning to identify risks and needs, and ensuring students meet set milestones.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £80-£90 per day, Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 3:30pm. We offer a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or those with previous experience working with children.
