About the RoleThis is a rare opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our well-established rotation program, working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
You will have the chance to develop your career, joining our established multi-professional preceptorship program, with support to work through your band 5 competencies.
Our inpatient services operate Monday to Friday, while the community rotation may involve weekend work on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the band 5 rotation, rotating every 8 months following discussion with your line manager and occupational therapy professional lead.
- Plan and organize a designated caseload of patients, identifying therapy goals using standardized and non-standardized assessment tools.
- Work with patients and carers to monitor, evaluate, and modify treatment interventions, measuring progress and effectiveness.
- Contribute specific occupational therapy knowledge and skills to the multi-professional team.
- Diploma or degree in occupational therapy, registered with the HCPC.
- Evidence of continuous professional development, including postgraduate training in a relevant clinical specialty.
- Up-to-date evidence-based clinical knowledge, preferably with experience in a relevant clinical area.
- Able to work flexibly, with excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
We offer a competitive salary of £32,764 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible working options, 27 days' annual leave rising with service, and access to our trust-wide learning and development program.
