Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Children and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our innovative community specialist CAMHS team in Berkshire West.

The role is mainly based at the stunning Erlegh House, which offers access to some of the university facilities, such as the gym. There will also be some travel required to other SCT sites for meetings and an element of home working.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing clinical complexity and uncertainty, making decisions based on evidence and experience, and meeting duties under the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £123,000 per annum, plus benefits including a generous pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.

As a Children and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric services to children and young people living in the Reading locality, working collaboratively with other Consultants within the West Business Unit to ensure that psychiatric services are provided relative to demand across the unit.

You will be part of a cohesive team of professionals including psychologists, family therapists, art therapists, nurses, CBT therapists, assistants, and an experienced administration team who run our clinics with great expertise.
