Epidemiology and Statistics Research Position

The International Society for Bayesian Analysis is seeking an Epidemiology and Statistics Researcher to join our team.

This is a fixed-term position, with an estimated salary range of £58,000 - £82,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  • Develop new statistical and mathematical models for combining administrative health system data and population survey data.
  • Design new HIV surveillance platforms in sub-Saharan Africa that leverage biomarkers for recent HIV infection and HIV case surveillance data.

About You:

  • Postdoctoral or predoctoral level qualification in a relevant field.
  • Excellent research skills and experience in epidemiology, statistics, and data science.

We are a collaborative and innovative team working closely with the UNAIDS Reference Group on Estimates, Modelling, and Projections. Our goal is to advance knowledge on HIV epidemiology and improve global health outcomes.
