Job Description

The Epidemiology Research Associate in UCL will play a crucial role in designing, conducting, and analysing research studies that link psychosocial factors with biomarkers collected from large datasets. You will work closely with our research teams to develop and implement research strategies, and contribute to the publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled researcher to advance their career and make a meaningful contribution to the field of genetic epidemiology.

Responsibilities
• Conduct literature reviews and develop research proposals
• Collaborate with research teams to design and implement research studies
• Collect and analyse data from large-scale biomarker collections
• Contribute to the development and sharing of polygenic risk scores
• Present research findings at conferences and workshops

Requirements
• PhD in epidemiology, quantitative social science, statistics, or relevant field
• Strong background in statistical analysis and programming languages such as R or Python
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
