About the OpportunityThis role offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum and provides the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in scrub roles within a surgical environment and demonstrated leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the scrub team, ensuring the seamless delivery of surgical services and maintaining top-tier patient safety.
- Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures, adhering strictly to sterile techniques.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to anticipate needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in policy development and implementation to continuously enhance surgical services.
- Registered as a Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with the NMC or HCPC.
- In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control.
