Solar Energy Business Development Opportunity:
">We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the commercial solar market. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Field sales position selling the full turn-key installation of commercial solar solutions
- 60% of your time selling into and managing relationships with business owners/building owner end-users
- 40% time working with M&E contractors and main contractors
- Typical projects include manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, anywhere that consumes a lot of electricity and has a large roof
- Typical project sizes £150-£1m
- Projects can vary in length from 3 months for a 50kw project up to 9-12 months for MW projects
- Some leads provided, but focus will be on new business development
- Revenue target approx. £1m
Requirements:
">- Field sales experience in the commercial solar market
- New business hunter with excellent negotiation skills
- Design experience desirable
- Knowledge of DNO, PDR, and Structural Surveys may be advantageous
- Previous experience selling into M&E contractors and main contractors may be useful
- Pro-active and self-motivated
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
