Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Support Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will work closely with our Service Manager and Community Links and Assessment Co-ordinator to provide outcome-focused support services to individuals aged 18 and above who require assistance with housing-related issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advice and guidance on various housing and support options, including access to and engagement with these services.
- Signpost individuals to other relevant services that can aid in meeting their support needs.
- Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure seamless delivery of support services.
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of housing-related issues and the needs of vulnerable populations. A strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients is essential.
