Palliative Care Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Palliative Care Nurse to join our team at Trinity Hospice. As a Palliative Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients with terminal illnesses
  2. Manage symptoms and provide pain relief, ensuring patients are comfortable and free from distress
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, including psychological, spiritual, and emotional support
  4. Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring safe and effective care
  5. Document patient progress and outcomes, contributing to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Experience in palliative care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
