Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Palliative Care Nurse Consultant to join our team at Trinity Hospice. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of palliative care services on the Fylde Coast.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide senior clinical leadership to our nursing and clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Advise and co-lead on strategic directions and service developments, working closely with our clinical and operational teams.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, mentoring, and education, ensuring the development of our staff and the delivery of excellent patient care.
  • Liaise with health and social care professionals, both internal and external to the Hospice, to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
  • Work collaboratively with our Palliative Medicine Medical Consultants to ensure the delivery of specialist palliative care services.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse on the NMC Register or Registered AHP on the HCPC Register.
  • MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
  • Non-medical prescriber with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Active professional portfolio in palliative care.
  • Leadership qualification and/or experience in a senior leadership role.
